Softcup Esophageal Stents

The Softcup esophageal stent from MICRO-TECH is equipped with a particularly soft proximal covered end, which prevent the hyperplasia causing restenosis. The interlaced mesh cup is designed to facilitate the end closure during stent extraction. The equipped thread is dedicated to the position adjustment while releasing the stent and to the subsequent extraction. The stent is preloaded on the high-precision PRODIS introducer. This guarantees reliable release and simultaneously leaves the choice open to the user as to whether the stent should be released from the proximal towards the stent distal direction (PROximal release) or from the distal towards the proximal direction (DIStal release).

The Soticup esophageal stent is completely covered and reduces the irritative stress for the patient with its particularly soti proximal tulip made of silicone. Its special design and the high radial force render the stent extremely positionally stable and guarantees a very snug fit on the esophageal wall. The good radiopacity and additional X-ray markings at significant points also facilitate orientation during stent placement
